The Vance County Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Destiney Ross-Putney as Interim Superintendent, effective upon the retirement of Superintendent Dr. Cindy Bennett on July 31, 2026. Dr. Ross-Putney currently serves as the Chief Officer of Instruction and Innovation for Vance County Schools.
